    if so i think mine is out. my rear drivers side wheel makes this god awful knocking sound while im driving. and it is LOUD. even with my stereo pounding i can still hear it. its driving (no pun intended) me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!

    yeah dude...there is a rear wheel bearing. I did a brake job on my ex's 626 once, and I tightened the hub nut too tight when I was done and I melted the bearing.. It was a bitch to get off and replace. Don't mess around with bearings..When it is hot smell and sniff and try to touch it...if that area smells hot your days are numbered..get that fixed!!! I dunno what other tell tale signs there are..My mechanic buddy used to say that it would sometimes sound like you had big knobby truck tires on the car...
    Also...jack the car up (take off e-brake) and spin the wheel...it should spin somewhat freely..if it doesn't, again..u may need a bearing.

    Sorry for the long post..I was thinking about ways to check it as I typed. cool

    damn i was afraid that it was someting that was bad. i hate fixing shit, i wish everything was always good, and stupid things like wheel bearings didnt go out.

    hey travis, i got a pretty good hub bearing unit that wil fit your car, it will take that noise away, ill sell it to you for $20 bucks, brand new at BAP they cost $90.
